Human Diet
Diet is important for our human beings. It sustains our lives, and protects us from infecting diseases. With right diet our body can even help ourselves to repair some damages such as sports injuries or the replacement of dead cells.
In addition to water and air, there are five groups of nutrients that we have to have on a daily basis. Otherwise we would get sick very soon. These are:
(1) Carbohydrates. It is the most important nutrient for us, which is providing over 60% of the energy human body needs.
