春天到了，铁树枝上的尖叶绿油油的，仿佛像被人涂上了绿色的油漆似的，叶尖上刺的周围，带有一丁点秋天的幻彩：黄色。外婆那儿，有很多花花草草，人们只要从那里路过，都会称赞那些花草，唯独铁树，一种普通得不能在普通的植物，没人称赞，也没人观望。它却在那里完好的伫立着。有时候几天或者几个月不下雨，一些植物就干旱死了，又或者，下几天大雨，有一些植物又被淋死了，只有铁树在那里坚强地挺立着，风吹雨打，它都屹立不倒，米黄色的果子，向外延伸着枝叶，还有那绿似碧玉的尖叶，看上去就像一个忠诚的卫兵，它已经生长很久了。
夏天到了，铁树身上的尖叶变得更绿了，枝干也已经很宽很大了，它的枝干已经伸到了去伐木区的路上。外婆用比较硬的将它向外延伸的枝叶围了起来，看起来像一个正在锻炼的运动员一样。
秋天到了，石桌边的梧桐树叶已经掉落了。只有铁树，枝叶完全没有掉落，就算掉，也是被一些小朋友折下来的，根本不会自然掉落。
多天到了，所有的树都沉睡了，只有铁树被雪调成一身雪白的“服装”，独自挺立在大院前门……
这就是我故乡的铁树，它的品格如其名，一年四季都在坚强地生活着，它的品格值得我学习。
