To be kind-hearted
One evening, it was raining and the wind was blowing hard. An old couple came to an inn and prepared to put up for the night (投宿)there. A young man received them with open arms(热情地), but said “I’m sorry! Our guest rooms here are all full and the inns nearby are all full, too, for there will be an important meeting to be held here tomorrow.”
Hearing the young man’s words, the old couple felt very disappointed, and turned around to leave.
Just as they were leaving, the young man came up to them and stopped them: “Madam and sir, if you don’t mind, you can sleep in my bedroom for a night…….”
The next evening, the old couple took out lots of money to give it to the young man, but he refused to take it.
“No！You needn’t pay me any money, for I only lend my room to you.” said the young man with a smile on his face.
“You’re great, young man! It’s very kind of you. Maybe one day, I’ll build a hotel for you!” said the old man gratefully.
With these words, the old couple left.
Gazing at their receding figures, the young man only laughed and went on working.
Several years later, the young man suddenly received a letter from the old couple, inviting him to go to Manhattan(曼哈顿) .
The young man met the old couple in front of a luxury hotel(豪华饭店).
“Do you still remember what I said to you several years ago? Look! This is the hotel that I built for you!” said the old man.
Soon, the young man became the manager of the hotel.

It is quite late now, though it was not late to me before at this clock. I should not stay so late I know. When one is getting old,he knows more about life. I think I do. I never felt time passing from me so fast like now. I always belived that the days would be splendid in the future . But I have came to know - it is not certain. I have came to understand what life is. Life is to be limited. I can say I dont fear death for I know it is part of nature. Floating Amidst The Stars Stargazing Meditation Since the beginning of time, humans have gazed at the stars in the night sky with awe, seeking in their luminosity everything from answers to inspiration to guidance. If you live in a rural setting, all you have to do is wait for the sun to set and the night to settle to get the show of your life, every night. If you make a habit of it, you will begin to know the seasonal changes of the night sky, deepening your connection to the earth and the universe in which you live. One of the best ways to stargaze is to lie down on a blanket so that your body can fully relax. This position allows your breath to move easily through your tranquil form as you settle down into the earth, connecting your consciousness to the sky. As you look deeply into its vastness, allowing your awareness to alternate between the pinpoints of light and the blue-black space that holds them, your breath expands and contracts your body, just as the universe expands and contracts to its own eternal rhythm. You may feel as if you are floating amidst the stars or that they are raining down upon you. You may feel peacefulness, joy, and connectedness, or any of a full range of emotions. Simply continue to breathe, experiencing the wonder of this universe and your place within it.

The Differences of Ecation between China and U.S

Based on checking the extensive literature and summing up the evidence, it is clear that study about differences of higher ecation between China and US has carried out a lot which mainly explaines the differences from different aspects of higher edcation between China and the United States. Such aspects mainly includes the social environment and cultural tradition, higher ecation system and reform measures. In the Integration of these differences, advantages and evils of both ecational systems have been evaluated respectively, and corresponding improvement measures were also put forwords. By summary, the detailed conclusions are listed as follows:

US is a open society. The society's openness urges the American college to abandon old ecational thoughts which European traditional universities stick to, adopt the open policy to absorb all advatanges from other countries and establishe a diverse and open ecation control system which emphasizes on the actual effect. US is the biggest imigrant country which has very strong containing nature in the culture. American economy ephiseizes on the practical value, matter rewards as well as indivial value realization with fast development, rich material life, strong material idea and etc[2].

Us’s higher ecation was considered as the best ecation in the world. Comparing the elementary ecation between American and China, people's universal view will be: China's elementary ecation aims to build the foundation of ecation with more study and less thought; while US's ecation aims to bulid such an ecation to raise the creativity with less study and more thought. Now Chinese students are generally regarded as intalents with few intelligence and high scores. What causes for such a view? Because the Chinese students study more, actually pay little attention to the practice, and cannot study for the purpose of application. Therefore, it is very important for Chinese higher ecation to cultivate the idea of unifying the study and prctice.

US's ecation pays more attention to raise student's self-confidence,independence,spirit of supporting oneself, but China's ecation emphases on training the students to be strict,rigorous spiritual.Obviously, Chinese ecation may fruitfully develop and ultilize the function of cerebrum, but US’s higher ecation could expand the function of cerebrum by ultilizing and synthesizing the information outside.

Each national higher ecation as economic system’s reflection serves for the economy; US ecation aims to adapt for society demand, they explicitly stipulate three big functions including ecation’s service for the economic development, scientific research and teaching.
