I don't like to be bound to something. When I choose my own career, the most important thing is my interest.Although they are not have relationship of what I have learned in university. Then, I'd like to find a job with flexible hours .This gives me the choice to work the hours I want and when I want.Of course, compensation is an important factor that i should consider.
However,People know that you can't promise something for nothing. So modern university students should make our good plans on occupational career.Well, we are hoping to get an offer of a better position. If opportunity knocks, we should take it.
㈡ 英语作文 the career iwant to be
The story doesn’t begin with “a long, long time ago”.
It was only recently that I realized what my “real” career would be. I have dreamed of becoming a scientist, a teacher, an ice cream vendor, and all sorts of different people when I was a kid. However, I knew these dreams would not become true the day I was determined to become an entrepreneur.
Yes, an entrepreneur, maybe not so big and established, but small and successful. And why I wanted to be an entrepreneur?
I have been holding part-time media jobs since I was in high school in China. This media experience takes me to the world that is called “business”. Being a part-time journalist for the Beijing Youth Daily and the Middle School Times in China and a part-time special New York correspondent for the Global Times (a newspaper in China), I have interviewed some entrepreneurs. Every successful entrepreneur has a million stories to tell. Every story of success demonstrates an entrepreneur’s in-depth knowledge in business, quick response to the ever-changing marketplace, and confidence in his/her own ability to succeed. It was simply fascinating to just hear these stories.
However, besides writing down these entrepreneurs’ successes, I kept asking myself one question: can I become one of them? This one little question has awakened the “business” side of myself.
Running a business is not easy. What’s the first thing? You have to know what you are going to run. Living in New York, I have had quite a few inspirations by observing this world’s financial and business center. I often said to myself, “oh, this thing’s gonna be a hit if I can bring it to the public,” or, “this service’s so cool, and the best part is that no one has even thought about it!” These daydreams were soon hit by the reality: how can I manage to present something to the public?
That was why I chose marketing as my undergraate major. I believe that marketing, more than accounting and management, is something that you need to be trained with. Accounting folks are almost always good at math, and management people almost always have ambition and leadership in their hearts. As for marketing, you may be creative, but creativity may be largely found only one part of marketing that is called “advertising and promotion”. There are a lot more to learn. As a marketing major, I was exposed to the internationally accepted marketing concepts, such as the four P’s (Proct, Price, Place, and Promotion), as well as the American way of doing marketing, such as strict rules on bribery when it comes to promotion and other business activities.
However, besides marketing classes, other business classes are just as important as marketing courses. The functional areas of business are integrated. And I know a successful businessperson may be specialized in one of these areas, but he/she will also know about how other areas are functioned. So I took some accounting, finance, and management classes to build myself as a businessperson, but not only a marketer.
My undergraate marketing classes went so smoothly that I began to think maybe I would become a good entrepreneur after I graate with my Bachelor of Science in Marketing. Well, I was partially wrong. Right now I am taking the undergraate capstone class and having a team of three people to run a business in a simulated game. I can read the financial reports, calculate ratios, and utilize the results in the decision-making and management of the business. However, when it comes to more complicated financial problems, I have to look up my big, thick finance book and find the solutions. This makes me think about the real world. In the real, fast-paced business environment, no one will allow you to look up your old college books and find a solution to a serious problem because by the time you finished reading, your whole business might be gone.
Then I put in some serious thoughts into my pursuit of career goal. I don’t want to become just a marketer. I want to become an entrepreneur. And a successful entrepreneur needs to know everything of all the functional areas of business. Of course books and real-life experience may help me to succeed, but I don’t believe these can show me a prosperous business as fast as does learning on campus. Systematical learning in business, especially in finance, will help me make better decisions later in my career. So a Master’s degree in finance area is a must on my way to success.
Now the story of me becoming an entrepreneur doesn’t end here because I know that after getting my Master’s degree in finance area, I will be ready.

What is more important to career success, interpersonal
relationship among colleague or indivial practical ability? It’ a big
problem for every new comer. One promote because of popularity whereas
one does because of excellent practical ability. The issue exits in every
company or institution.
Those who support interpersonal relationship
is superior to ability usually emphasis the harmony of a
society.Without it,instead of hatred to each other, there will be a
terrible thing that every employee doesn’t work at heart but has to mind
protecting oneself from colleagues. With it,peace atmosphere not only
keep friendly in workshops or offices but also improve the job quality
up.Even if a skilled man is,one should be excluded if absent it.
But
there is an objection that practical ability must be the first factor to
career success in every situation.Prefer ability to interpersonal
relationship may stand by the principle, they say,as flourish is
irrigated by sweat.Good relationship could keep touch with colleagues
but nothing to do with your work in deed. Will your boss prompt you for
your goodness?Making money is the soul to a corporation. Thus,a kind but
impractical, lack of capability employee certainly ends with
dismissal.Being a popular is one thing, but getting up is another.
㈦ 求一篇关于my favourite career的大学英语作文
I’ taken numerous career tests over the past few years. Career assessments can be expensive and some just weren’t worth my money. I’ll review a few of my favorite tests and explain what features I liked about each.
Project Career
In Project Career’s assessment, you are given a list of indivial activities. You must select whether you would like the activity, dislike it, or neither. This method allows for the incorporation of your interests, values, skills and personality into one test because the activities you prefer reflect all of these factors. I like that this test assesses your preference for each activity indivially rather than making you choose one activity out of two or three. The results are reported by instry rather than listing indivial jobs. A detailed description is provided for each of your top instries, including employment outlook and sample job titles. I found the results of this assessment to be the most accurate of all the assessments I’ve taken.
MyPlan
MyPlan.com offers four assessments (skills, interests, personality, values) and a composite score of all assessments you choose to take. The values assessment is free while the other three assessments are $7.97-$9.95 each. The complete package is $19.95. Once you purchase access to an assessment, you can take it over as many times as you wish. In my experience, the values assessment was most accurate while the skills test was least accurate (sometimes it’s hard to make an accurate assessment of your own abilities).
LiveCareer
With each question on the LiveCareer test, you are given a choice of three activities similar to those you would perform in different jobs. You must rate which activity you would like to do most and which you would like to do least. It’s free to take the 100-question test and get a basic report, which shows your top and bottom interest areas. The premium report, which lists your top 20 job matches, costs $24.95. I found the interest areas and job categories to be more accurate than the actual job matches. The deluxe report (which I didn’t purchase) will give your top 100 job matches, but I think you should simply consider all the careers from your top five categories as the report suggests.
In the results of the career tests I’ve taken, there have been recommended careers that I have absolutely no interest in at all. However, there were two or three careers that appeared in the results of almost every test I took. These are the areas that I focused on when deciding what I career wanted to pursue. On the other hand, chemistry, physics, and mathematics are easy for me because they seem logical to me. After considering my interests and talents I feel that science or engineering might be the best choice for my career. I would like to study science or engineering in college. ㈨ 以Career为标题写一篇英语作文,寄往某英文报社。
你没有说多少字,也不知道你需要的水平是怎么样,我以前写过一篇比较长大学作文,如下:
题目:How to choose a right career
Choosing the right career can be difficult, but having a defined career direction will help people with getting a suitable job. With hard work and correct methods, you can also accomplish that goal. Now I will explain these correct methods.
Before you start considering you job choice, you should test your skills first. If you are not sure what career you want, you might not be taking into account skills that you already have. Everybody is good at something, so try brainstorming and write a list of as many of your qualities as you can. You may think about factors like whether you prefer working alone or with others, and how these qualities can translate into a job.
After that, you can ask your family and friends what they think you are good at. It is because you may have skills that you are not even aware of. You can also try speaking to a career adviser. They will help you assess your skills and personality and enable you to develop ideas about careers options you had not thought of before.
Then it will come to the stage that you have to consider you job choice. You have to take the time to really consider and decide what your priorities are. You can think about factors like your expected salary, the distance you want to travel and whether a job offers long-term security. If you are a visual person you can try making a collage of your ideal visions for your future career. You can also consider the likelihood of finding employment in your chosen area. Many people know deep down what their dream job would be, but deny it because they think it would be too difficult to achieve, or because they are seeking approval from family or society.
Lastly, you can look for a job that suits you. Once you have an idea of what line of work you want to be in, it is important to do lots of research. Find out how active the jobs market is in that instry, and how the recruitment process usually works. Research local organisations to see if they have any opportunities for you to do the type of work you have decided on.
