同济大学的英语专业相比起本校其他专业来说不是很强，但是也还是不错的，毕竟同济大学是副部级985，全国重点大学。相比复旦大学、上海交通大学、上海外国语大学和华东师范大学还是有一点点差距的。

所谓的文复科不怎么样是相对于制复旦北大南大这种综合性名校而言的，和普通高校比当然还是要强得多了，只是因为同济的特色是理工而已。
外国语学院在本部，即四平路校区，也就是你所谓的主校区。同济的主要校区一共两个。四平路本部在市区，还有个工科学院为主的新校区在嘉定。
英语系就业还不错，就我的了解，这个要靠你个人努力的，工作不会自己送上门来。
凡是学外语专业的必须学第二外语，在哪个学校都是如此。你是英语的，那么在同济第二外语可以选择德语日语法语等等。我记得我的同学学法语的比较多。

根据高考分数分级的，感觉三级和四级人数差不多，具体比例我也不知道，但是三级四级除专了学三级比四级简属单容易学，三级比四级晚一个学期考四六级之外没有区别，学分是一样多的，如果你英语高考分数特别高，还会有免修考试，如果通过会有不同程度的免修，比如别人要学12学分的英语你只要4学分或者不用修。
