英语角是广受学生欢迎又愈久祢新的英语第二课堂活动。英语角由有关社团负责管理,由中外籍教师和听说能力强的学生提供协助并发挥他们的示范作用。除了自主组合、自由交谈方式外,英语角经常采取话题讨论法,如预设一些学生感兴趣的话题或选择国内外近期发生的热点事件以供讨论,来激发学生交流的欲望。此外,我们还在活动进行中穿插猜谜、笑话连篇、连句成故事等游戏活跃气氛,以降低学生在用英语交际过程中易产生的焦虑紧张等消极情感。

第二种:一、在铃声未落前,就提前进教室,微笑面对学生,简单大方地把自己介绍给学生,最好能使学生眼前一亮,留下深刻印象。
二、课前要把课准备得非常充分,准备好教具等。把教材装在心里,课堂上,要把90%注意力放在学生身上,10%的注意力用在教学方案的实施上。
三、眼睛柔和,对那些神不守舍、好动、好说的学生目光要犀利,可以“以动制动”,请他们做点事——比如回答问题、读单词、表演、等。
四、及时鼓励、表扬、提醒学生,但话要简洁明了。
五、要尽快地记住每个学生的名字——首先记住表现好的和表现差的学生的名字。
六、要注意教学形式,方法多变。
七、恰当地使用手势、动作等肢体语言。
八、幽默风趣,灵活应对课堂突发事件。
九、吸引学生对英语产生兴趣,引导学生积极互动,但不要过于追求课堂教学的热闹,要让学生学会思考。
十、如教低年级,可以小组合作等形式凝聚学生的注意力。
十一、一定要控制好课堂秩序,组织好课堂教学。
