英语过去式主要是指发生在过去的动作……记住例句你就可以分辨
1.ago::I was a student three years ago.意思是,我三年前是个学生.这句话首先看有时间状语three years ago,这里边的ago就是很明显的过去式的标志,看到这个单词,就知道用过去式
2.yesterday::I went there yesterday.意思是,我昨天去了那里.这句话时间状语是yesterday,看到这个词,句子绝大部分情况就是用过去式
3.关于英语过去式的一些词总结:ago,yesterday,just now,a moment ago,last year,this moring……等等
4.be 动词的变换形式:在过去式里is要变成was,are要变成were,do要变成did,相应的动词要变成过去式形式(规则动词直接在词后加ed或者双写最后字母再加ed,不规则动词要变成相应形式,如grow——grew,go——went等)

a.be动词(was,were)

c.助动词:do-did
4)规则动词的变化形式:
a.直接加ed
b.以不发音的e结尾,加d.如:dance-danced,taste-tasted
c.以一个元音字母加一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节动词,先双写结尾的辅音字母,再加-ed.如:stop—stopped
d.以辅音字母加y结尾的动词,先把y变成i,再加-ed.如:study—studied,carry—carried
5)不规则动词的变化形式,大致有这样一些记忆法 :
a.以t结尾的词,过去式与原形相同.如:put—put,let—let,cut—cut,
b.以d结尾的词,把d变成t.如:build—built,lend—lent,send—sent,spend—spent
c.以n结尾的词,在词后加t.如:mean—meant,burn—burnt,learn—learnt

e.含有双写字母的词,将双写改为单写,在词尾加t.如:keep—kept,sleep—slept,feel—felt,smell—smelt
