同學們,通過預習我們知道家庭成員的稱呼。那麼,你能不能用自己帶來的照片,介紹你的家人呢?你應該用什麼樣的句型呢?現在我們作個示範練習。

學生間互相交換照片,看你們了解同學的哪些家庭成員。
請看書P47 的圖,給小組其他成員介紹Dave的一家,再完成1c,輪流匯報Dave一家的情況。

請看書P48 2b-2d的圖,通過相互問答:Is this…? Yes, it is. 或No, it isn』t. 來了解圖中的人物。
介紹別人用句型:This is…. That』s ….。 辨認某人用句型:Is this…? Is that…? 還有其它句型嗎?

注意:these是this的復數, 指「這些」, those是that的復數, 指「那些」。 These、those作主語時, 後面的謂語動詞用復數形式are。
二、布置作業

任務示範及講解
讓學生拿出上一課時布置完成的作業:畫一幅關於家庭和朋友的圖畫。向同學介紹圖畫中的人物,並填寫下列表格。

Step2 Grammar

(一)過去進行時

1.含義:表示過去的某一時刻或某一時間內正在進行或發生的動作。

2.構成:was/were+v-ing。

3.標志:at that time, this time yesterday, all the evening, from 8:00 to 10:00yesterday, just then, at nine yesterday, when等表示明確有具體的時間狀語。eg:

I was doing my homework at this time yesterday.

What was Tom doing at ten yesterday.

I was eating dinner when the phone rang.

4.具體的句型:

(1)肯定句:主語+was/were+v-ing eg:

They were having a meeting that time.

(2)否定句:主語+was not(wasn』t)/were not(weren』t) +v-ing

上句改寫為:They were having a meeting that time._____________________

(3)一般疑問句式:Was/Were +主語+v-ing?

肯定回答:Yes,…was/were.

否定回答:No,…wasn』t/weren』t.

Eg:Was she reading a book when the teacher came in?

Yes,she was. / No, she wasn』t.

(二)when與while用法

1.when是「當……時候」,相當於at that time,既可以表示某一時刻又可以表示某一段時間,所以when引導的時間狀語從句動詞既可以是延續性的,又可以是非延續性的。when引導的時間狀語如果是一般過去時,主句一般用過去進行時。而while也意為「當……時候」」,相當於ring the time,表示某一段時間歷里的情況,故其引導的時間狀語從句中的動詞必須是延續性的。eg:

While I was watching TV, my mother came back.

=When my mother came back, I was watching TV.

2.while重在強調其後的動作與助於動作的對比,表示「與此同時」。eg:

She was listening to music while I was playing computer games.

3.when/while練習

自主探究:片語用法。

1、be scared to do表示「不敢做某事」,是主觀原因。

例如:He is scared to go out at night.

2、be scared of doing 表示「擔心出現doing所出現的情況、結果」,doing 是客觀上造成的。例如:He is scared of failing in this maths test.

3、小節回顧

1) While 表示「在……過程中」,強調在一段時間內,所以While引導的從句中的謂語動詞必須為延續性動詞。

如:While was writing a letter ,the children were playing outside.

Mary 寫信時孩子們正在外面玩。(此句中主句動詞play為延續性動詞,強調主句和從句的動作同時發生。)

when連接的狀語從句是個特殊句型,前一個分句(謂語動詞用過去進行時)+後一個分句(謂語動詞用一般過去時)表示在前一個動作正在進行的過程中突然發生了後一個動作

如:I was walking along the road when I met a friend of mine.
