I am of the idea that the colonization the Amazon would bring severe environmental disaster to the area and its people. When people move into the Amazon, they chop down huge tree and build their houses, farms and factories. As a result, the trees that have taken many years to grow are becoming fewer and fewer. The chemicals from farms and factories are polluting the rivers and the fish are dying because of pollution.
