Last week, I attended my cousin』s wedding with my mother. Our relationship is very close. She always looked after me, treated me well when I was a wimpy kid. So, seeing she got married, I was very happy for her. When we reached, the first thing I saw from her was her happy smile. She was the most beautiful girl in the world at that time. Wearing wedding white dress made her look more delicate and attractive. I hoped she would be happy forever. I would like to give my best wishes to her, my dearest sister.

Toasts are made to wish the new couple long life, eternal love and happiness, early birth of a healthy baby and so on.

Before the Chinese Wedding Day
Before her wedding celebration, a Chinese bride traditionally goes into seclusion with her closest friends. This Chinese custom gives the bride-to-be some time to symbolically mourn the loss of her friends and family.
Some time before the couple are married, the groom's family carries wedding gifts in red baskets and boxes to the bride's house. One of the baskets will contain "uang susu" or 'milk money'. Others will contain personal things for the bride, so that on her wedding day all of her personal belongings will be in the groom's house. The bride takes the gifts to another room where they are sorted through. Three days before the wedding day, women from the bride's family reciprocate, bearing gifts -- including some 'returns'-- in red wrappings to the groom's family.

After a while, a accustomed but enchanting question is asked to the gril:"Would u marry him and be the one who accompanies with him for the rest of your life?"
She agreed, without any hesitation.
Then, the boy is asked:" Would u marry her and be the one who takes care of her and bevote all you have to her?"
The boy agreed, with some tears on his eyes.
Just a sudden, the slience crumbles and turns into the euphoria.
How wonderful, how beautiful.
Under no circumstance can it stop the couples from this abiding love.

It has been a while since we last met, and every laughing minite filled up my memory. Recently we have the renovation of the new bought house done, and therefore would like to have the honour inviting you couple to visit us on June 28th 2006 and have dinner together. I suggest the time for dinner would be best at 7:00pm.
