It is always my honor standing here to present my speech, First of all, Please allow me to introce myself. My name is XX , I'm a student of XXXXXX. My major is XXX. O f course, I also have many hobbies, such as listenning light musics, watching movies and surfing Internet.
Acting as others, I have a motto myself, which leads me to the right way all the ways. That is "It is no use doing what you like you have to enjoy what you have done." Now let's come to the point. The topic of my speech is Learning to Live As If Every Drop is Priceless

There is no denying that many children have compelled to drop out of schools for a lack of water ,expansive fields of crops have failed to be harvested for a lack of water ,and thousands and thousands of fishes have dead for a lack of water .All these facts suggest just one thing: China is thirsty.

According to the survey ,in Gui Zhou 、Yun Nan、Si Chuan、Chong Qing and Guang Xi,a scale of drought has covered. As a result, almost 61 million residents and 5 million hectares of crops are seriously affected. Let me take Gui Zhou as an example, the QingLong county of Gui Zhou has suffered from a no rain day for 268 days .Here I dare say no one of us could imagine how it would be on such a condition. Then reason is very simple, because it seems that we have enough water to waste! On usual, we take a bath over a long time, we overmuch use water to clear our hands, feet, head as if they are rather dirty, and we even forget to turn off taps after using them. So we do ignore water is precious, water is life! Are you for or against me?
Please looking back on these people in southeast China, words can't express how they need water, even a drop of water.
Before long, I saw a piece of press bulletin on Newspaper, in which a person said:」 My family gets two or three buckets of water every day, we use them for drinking, washing, and cooking. If we save a little every day, then once a week, we can have a brief shower」。Suppose you just have so little water, what would you do? IS it probably for you to use it as wasted as possible? Do you?
As far as I can see，even though ,now, there is a plentiful water around us, we have to bear it in mind that the water is limited, and it will be dried up sooner or later .At that moment, We will face water crisis after financial crisis. So saving water is the key to solving this kind of problems .Personally speaking, a drop of water coming form one person means nothing, but absolutely matters if it is proced by unaccountable people .Because only when all of us begin to treat every drop of water as a gem, can we live longer, happier, and can we be called qualified human beings. Therefore I can for all the people in the world to learn to live as if every drop is priceless.
Ladies and Gentlemen, it』s time to take action, let』s contribute to saving every drop of water.

You remember shaking the sofa cushions for loose change4, so the toothfairy5 could come and take away your child's first lost tooth. You wished for your child to have all permanent teeth.

All you remember about your child being seven is the carpool6 schele. You learned to apply makeup in two minutes and brush your teeth in the rearview mirror1 because the only time you had to yourself was when you were stopped at red lights. You considered painting your car yellow and posting a "taxi" sign on the lawn next to the garage door. You remember people staring at you, the few times you were out of the car, because you kept flexing2 your foot and making acceleration3 noises. You wished for the day your child would learn how to drive.
