The most important change, as far as my family are concerned,is the demolish of old and dangerous school buildings and the rebuilding of new ones. My brother and I now attend school in one of the new buildings.
New roads have also been constructed to link my hometown with neighbouring towns where we now could visit ring the weekends by cars or buses.
A new sports centre has also been built recently, we could now play basketball there after school and on Sundays.
Finally, it is fair to say that, life is getting better by the day,
and I could see that more changes are on the way.

在寫作當中，很多學生感到無話可說，無東西可寫。東拼西湊起來的文章，乾乾巴巴，空洞無物，讀來讓人味同嚼蠟。究其原因，大概主要是對生活觀察不夠，缺乏足夠的積累。同時，缺少必要的手段，也是文章空洞無物的重要原因。
那麼怎樣讓文章充實起來呢？把概括的敘述具體化，就是一種行之有效的方法。
敘述有概括和具體之分，兩種手法各有其功用。該概括時要概括，該具體時要具體。但是，如果一味的使用概括敘述，就會造成文章的干癟空洞。例如，有的同學寫母親時，就給母親戴了一大堆高帽：母親特別勤勞，每天起早睡晚，忙這忙那。母親生活也十分儉朴，雖然眼下生活條件好多了，但母親從不亂花一分錢……這樣寫，雖然也能表現出母親的某些特點，但是，這好象是在給母親下定義，母親的形象是公式化的，給人的印象也是不具體的。這時如果把概括的敘述具體化（即用具體的事件代替概括的敘述），文章就會充實起來，人物的形象也會鮮活起來。
例如，一位同學在《心中，那朵無暇的雲》中寫老師給他的印象時，這樣寫到：「老師脾氣特好，待我們就象大姐姐一般。千盼萬盼的美術課上，她用溫柔而靈巧得手，在我們心中描繪出一幅幅絢爛的圖畫，喚起我們對生活熱烈而美好嚮往。」老師的脾氣特好，怎麼個好法？待我們像大姐姐，究竟怎麼對待的？這些都是很概括的敘述。不僅文章很空，也未能充分寫出老師的個性特點。講評時，我指導學生運用這種方法，對這部分內容作了如下修改：「老師脾氣特好，待我們就象大姐姐一般。即使我們做錯了事，甚至惹了禍，她也從未發過火，而總是用她那潺潺流水般的語調開導我們。記得那次我們在她的畫室里玩，不小心弄灑了她的水彩，還把她那幅即將創作完畢的春景圖給污染了。我們心知闖了大禍，獃獃的望著她。她的臉上，瞬間掠過一絲不易察覺的表情。隨即她迅速走到我們跟前，輕輕撫摩著我們的頭說：」沒事的，不就是一幅畫嗎？老師是專業的，再畫一幅不就完了嗎？『他故意說的是那麼輕巧。可我們知道，那幅畫是她用幾個星期畫的呀！「這樣寫，用具體的事件來表現老師的脾氣，不僅內容充實了，老師的個性也得到了充分的表現。
