這首英文詩是aabb型的尾韻，wide和mountainside押韻，trace和place押韻，讀起來朗朗上口。而原詩是白居易的《大林寺桃花》，這首詩很多人應該也聽過，「人間四月芳菲盡，山寺桃花始盛開。長恨春歸無覓處，不知轉入此中來」。這首詩是白居易任江州司馬時寫的，當時正值人間四月天，百花殆盡，詩人無處覓春，心中幽怨，沒想到在大林寺卻看到了剛剛盛開的桃花，驚喜愛惜之情油然而生。小詩一首，寥寥數語，卻意境深邃，富有情趣。

I. 古詩怎麼翻譯成英文
坦白說，你這個可是翻譯界的「課題」級別的。
就我們古詩翻譯課上學版到的東西來看，中權國的譯者偏向於「音譯」，即偏重保留古詩的押韻的美感。同時，翻譯比較嚴格的保留了詩歌本來的字面意思，即便遇到英語中沒有的內容，也偏好通過注釋等來補充。
而國外的漢學家翻譯的古詩則基本是「意譯」，不太注重古詩本身的字面意思，也不偏重音韻的優美。很多時候外國的漢學家翻譯過去的已經不成為「詩」，而更像是散文。
推薦你可以看下英美現代詩歌早期的代表人物Ezra Pound,此人翻譯了無數中國古詩，並且在20世紀初在歐美掀起了一股中文古詩熱。他的翻譯還是很具有代表性的。希望你能夠從中找到一些靈感。
