酒店的英語培訓一般源一年一次，基本安排在淡季，時間大概在聖誕節或者新年前後。
方式是崗上培訓和業余時間相結合（培訓生除外，培訓生的語言培訓都是在上崗前進行崗前培訓）。
教材是單獨的教材，和酒店知識有結合的。
師資一般都是從外語學院請老師，或者飯店培訓部
的培訓員進行培訓。檔次高的飯店還會聘請外教進行語言強化訓練。
