面試可以說是壓力最大的一個環節.面對老師連珠炮似的提問,如果能回答得從容不迫,簡明扼要,恰當中肯,而且合乎老師的口味,那麼肯定會大大增加你的錄取機會.
事先3項准備
■對目標學校所在地,規模,在全國的活動概況等要事先有所了解,包括該校建校的時間,畢業生流向的表現,教育規模,以及今後打算開展的教育活動等.
■面試時自我介紹內容應強調來這個學校學習的動機以及假若被錄取後自己的學習計劃,因此做好相關資料,自我介紹時才能胸有成竹,切合主題.
■准備好所有證書材料,譬如與專業能力相關的資格證書,或參加培訓的資料,最好和國家級競賽有直接關聯,不但可證明自己在這一方面所做的努力,也表示具有這個潛能.
談吐3P原則
自我介紹時應該記住"3P原則":Positive(自信),Personal(個性),Perti鄄nent(中肯).談吐自信,就是要積極地進行自我肯定,讓面試老師充分了解你的優點與潛能.突出個性,就是要把自己與眾不同的特點發揮出來,強調自己的專業與能力.語氣中肯,就是要實事求是,不要言過其實,誇誇其談,也不要涉及和自己無關的事情.
自我介紹應簡潔明了,給面試人留下思路清晰,反應快捷,邏輯性強的印象.自我介紹時間不宜太長,話不宜太多,最好控制在五分鍾之內.不要一談起自己就口若懸河,滔滔不絕,以免言多語失.另外,在自我介紹時應避免過多地使用"I"(我),不要每個句子一開頭就冒出一個"I"字,給人留下自我標榜,以自我為中心的印象.
靈活的學生往往會把"我"開頭的話,變成"你"字打頭.例如,面試老師說:"Will you please say something about yourself "(請你談談自己的情況好嗎 )學生則說:"Do you want me to talk about my personal life "(你想讓我談談我個人的生活嗎 )這樣,你的談話就把面試老師擺了進去.這種談話的方式所產生的效果是不言而喻的.面試畢竟是面試老師與學生互相溝通的一種場合,學生時常把面試老師擺進自己的談話當中去,自然而然就起到了互相溝通的作用.
圍繞3方面表現
回答問題時口齒要清晰,語調適中.內容要有條理,避免重復.介紹學習經歷採用倒序,從最近一個學校談起,著重強調有利於新學校的學習經歷.最好能說明曾擔任何種職務,實際成績,國家競賽成績等,以及自己的加入對原來班級的影響.凡和此次求學不相關的內容,盡量避免提及.話題緊扣以下3方面來展現自己的優勢.
首先把自己的專長講足說夠,然後順理成章地得出結論:I think your unit needs a man like me.(我想,貴單位需要象我這樣的人才.)用這樣的句式,讓面試老師認為你是站在他們的立場上說話,於是更容易接受你.當面試老師在審視你究竟能不能進入該校學習時,參照的標准已不再是他心目中的標准,而是你列舉的理由.
學校面試喜歡用事實說話,為了證明你的能力,你可以把過去的經歷聯系起來,說明你曾經在以前的學校得到的獎勵以及做為班幹部所做的事跡
誠意某個問題發表完見解之後,可以附帶加上一句:I'd like to hear your opinion.(我很想聽聽你的意見.)這句話表明了你對面試老師的尊敬,很容易使他(她)產生親切感.當面試老師在試探你的求學誠意時,應該及時表態:So far as that is concerned,you must have under stood my determination.(談到這里,您一定已經明白我的決心.)問些與學習內容相關的問題,能表現你對這份工作的興趣.
