2012考研英語難。英一的翻譯題型是在一片文章中抽出幾句話進行英譯漢，很難回聯繫上下文對詞答匯進行分析和判斷，只能根據自身的知識積累進行翻譯。

另外，英一的翻譯分值為10分。而英二的翻譯題型是給一篇文章，通篇翻譯，前後邏輯性較強，有時候連蒙帶猜也能對文章內容有大概了解，所以較為簡單。而英二的翻譯分值為15分。

complex是形容詞沒錯，但是這里修飾的是（cultural behavior），不是 cultural，復雜的文化行回為這種翻譯是答沒錯的。
如果說從how後面斷開，就需要how後面跟一個副詞，來修飾 arise(arose)，但是這里complex只能是形容詞。
體會一下下兩句話的不一樣
...might enable us to understand how unbelievably cultural behavior arose...
...might enable us to understand how complex cultural behavior arose...
前面一句話就可以按你的方式去翻譯，「文化行為的產生多麼難以令人置信」，這里unbelievably 修飾arose,是一個副詞。

得2012年考研英語難度一般。

考研英語完全側重的理解，有三個專小時的時間可以去慢慢屬做，慢慢理解，但是即使這樣，也不是很容易拿高分的，因為雖然是熟詞，但是考察熟詞的意思是更深層次的，一般可以考察到熟詞的四-五層次去，所以難度正在於這樣，既然有1萬的詞彙量，有時候也很難拿到高分，因為考察的都是熟詞生意。

考研要參加全國統一考試，高數、外語、政治是國家卷，專業課是所報考的大學出題，學校試卷上交後也和外語數學等一起考，不是到所報大學考試。

在當年10月左右網上報名，一月中旬左右參加考試，考點一般在報名所在城市的大學或者中學，和高考一樣，單座，上下午各一科目，考兩天，然後到3月初可以出成績和錄取線，和高考一樣分為國家線（最低要求）和院校線，過了線就可以參加學校的復試和面試。
