The whole village（主句主語） soon learnt（謂語） that （引導賓語從句）a large sum of money（從句主語） had been lost（被專動語態屬）.
② 新概念英語2冊45課
all放在這兩個不同的位置中，它的詞性是不一樣的，放在前面的時候它是個形容詞（所有回的），而放答在後面的時候，它則是個副詞（完全地）。
至於句意的話，非要作出區別的話大概是著重點不同吧。上面一句話翻譯成這「最終，山姆所有的錢都以這種方式還了回來。」（強調錢的數額）下面這句則翻譯成，「最終，山姆的錢全部都以這種方式還了回來。」（強調還錢的方式）
囧，其實我覺得這個問題沒什麼糾結的必要~~

Lesson45 A clear conscience
The whole village soon learnt that a large sum of money had been lost. Sam Benton, the local butcher, had lost his wallet while taking his savings to the post-office. Sam was sure that the wallet must have been found by one of the villagers, but it was not returned to him. Three months passed, and then one morning, Sam found his wallet outside his front door. It had been wrapped up in newspaper and it contained half the money he had lost, together with a note which said: 'A thief, yes, 'but only 5o per cent a thief!' Two months later, some more money was sent to Sam with another note:' Only 25 per cent a thief now!' In time, all Sam's money was paid back in this way. The last note said:' I am 100 per cent honest now!'
