未學英語時，在電視、網路上我就經常接觸到英語，說明英語是專一門非常重要的學科，屬我內心裡充滿了對英語的好奇和嚮往。現在，我終於開始學習英語課了，一個個小小的字母就勾起了我無限的好奇心，雖然我還很懵懂，對英語一知半解，但我此時卻比以往更充滿了學習英語的動力！當然，我要腳踏實地、從小事做起，當下就是好好掌握音標，為接下來的學習打好基礎，我對自己有信心！英語，我愛你！~

『柒』 對英語的看法和感悟

說一下學習口語的幾個誤區：

1. 關於方法。看到網上的那些口語教學貼大多無外乎兩種觀點：

一種說法是告訴讀者要多聽BBC,VOA或是其他PODCAST之類的聽力素材，花比如一周的時間精聽特定某一小段，直到自己能用和它一樣的語調脫口而出。這種方法不知害了多少人，首先聽多了不代表會開口說，光聽不思考只是機械地輸入，會使你忽略其中的語法、結構、單詞如何使用等細節。這種方法會造成的後果，是當你開口表達某件事時你會慣性地把你所背誦的某一整句話一起說出來。簡言之，這種方法不能把你所背的內容化為己用。其次，這樣機械練習非常耗費精力。一句話說3，4遍我們就會嫌人嘮叨，何況是一段話反復聽一周。

另一種說法是讓你開口說，不斷和老外對話，從而自然而然地掌握口語。這種方法看似對其實也不怎麼可行。首先是要有這樣的練習環境，我想除了在外企工作或是國外留學以外，沒多少人能在平時有時間和老外閑聊，並且這個極品老外還很客氣地一句句糾正你口語中的錯誤。另一種途徑就是去報那些所謂一對一培訓，不僅價格高而且不實用，培訓機構的老外一般也都沒受過正規的師范教育（順便在這里宣洩一句，不敢說得太絕對，但來國內發展的那些外教或是培訓機構的老外，至少八成以上是沒有一技之長專程來國內騙吃騙喝騙小姑娘，多少無知女生被搞上床然後不出幾天就看清嘴臉的，說句痛快話真該把這些人渣全趕出國內）。其次在你和老外對話的過程中，你所使用的是你非常熟悉的那些語句，也就是說對話只能提高熟練程度，並沒有實質性的提高。

2. 關於素材

我很不推薦BBC, VOA這樣的聽力素材。無論你的聽力好到什麼程度你都有可能聽不懂其中新聞在講什麼，因為你沒有相關的背景。無論你的口語好到什麼程度你都達不到他們說話的語速，因為他們的職業就是做新聞的。同理的也包括CNN, NY TIMES這樣的新聞網站，當然如果你看得多了知道新聞的來龍去脈那自然沒有問題。相比倒是比如<新概念>這樣的教學教材更適合練習口語的人，其中句式用法更為多樣化，使用也比較標准。另外你可以在網上搜索國外的一些口語教材，你會發現比之國內的那些應試教材要地道、可行得多。

3.關於俚語

有些人學口語先從俚語入手，那基本也毀了。我想那些學俚語的恐怕是受美劇的影響，但事實是在中國根本不需要學什麼俚語，因為除了工作和正式場合會用到英語之外，其他時間我們用不到。至於要和老外打交道，那也只需要學一些正常的日常對話用語就行。所以別花過多心思在俚語上。

什麼才是練習口語的關鍵？我總結了以下三點供參考。

1.思維：很多人口語不好不是因為發音或是聽力的原因，而是遇到需要表達的時候不知道說什麼好。尤其是在遇到開放性問題時很多人一上來就會亂了陣腳。比如要你說說對最近某件社會熱點事件的看法時，很多人可能用中文也表達不清，更不用說要在腦內轉換成英文。（應試教育的產物？）所以首先要加強的就是對觀點的中文表述能力，也就是加強思維的邏輯性。這可能需要很長一個過程，但在遇到某些常見問題時我們能通過一種思維模板來作出反應。比如面試時會被問到：Why would you prefer working in a small team rather than in a work group? 這時你需要想到的是：要有一個明確的觀點，至少3條論據，其中有一條需要展開說明，還有一個總結。又或是比如你想要論證某個觀點正確，你可以用這樣的思維模式：列出觀點――另一種表述（put another way…）――觀點的重要性（if not…）――舉例――列出優缺點――其他引伸。也就是說在回答某些問題時需產生一個提綱，這樣就會明白自己該說什麼，有助於條理清晰地表達你的想法。

2.句式和詞彙：這兩者也算是很多人學英語的一個痛。有時候和別人說了一大段話發現自己全是用的同一種句型或是詞不達意。也就是說我們說的英語不夠地道。那怎樣才能培養地道的英語，需要觀察別人是在什麼語境下使用某種句型，在什麼情緒下用某一單詞。這里只提供一本素材，<The Merriam-webster dictionary of synonyms and antonyms>.以前GRE課上教類比反義的老師提供的詞彙書。其中交代了每個單詞應該使用於什麼樣的語境中，推薦有一定詞彙基礎的人閱讀。至於句型可以通過留心網路上各類英語文章得以總結。

3.關於發音。有些練習口語的人一上來就非常注重發音是否地道，一味追求語速，以及連讀、失爆這樣的技巧，這也很沒必要。國人對於發音不需要過高的技巧，但還是至少必須要能夠清楚正確地讀出每一個單詞。

總結一下，思維在口語中的重要性要遠大過發音，學習口語不能光靠機械地輸入和背誦，而是要動腦子去觀察和記憶。
