一、課程性質及教學目標
電大英語二是一門以文字教材為基礎,以電視課為中心,輔之以面授課,
又便於學員自學的多媒體教材,它是成招各種專業和開放教育專、本科各種
專業學生必選課。根據教學大綱的規定,通過第二學期考試的學生所掌握的常用詞彙達到1500個;應能聽懂簡單的日常生活會話和教學用語,能回答有關對話和課文的問題;能讀懂所學詞彙及語法范圍內的淺易故事或敘述、經過改寫的報刊報道、科普文章等;能用所學詞彙及語法組詞造句並無重大語法錯誤。
二、課程的設計結構特點及媒體教材
文字教材的編寫編排體現遠距離教學的學習過程。 教科書中內容分為兩三個Programme。每個Programme分為Pre-TV,TV和Potst TV,各部分內容都圍繞電視課展開。面授課主要解決Pre-TV和Post-TV的內容。學生在教師指導下, 先觀看錄像課共三講,其中TV部分要求學生同步參與電視授課過程。參與會話、回答問題、聽力等內容項目。在面授過程中,教師幫助學生閱讀課文,同步完成其中練習,掌握基本詞彙、語法知識,提高閱讀理解能力,提高聽說能力。完成學生手冊中的自測練習內容。
全書包括十八個教學單元,其中三個單元是復習課。每周完成一個單元,共需十八周時間。配有五十四講電視錄像課和三盤盒式錄音帶。
文字教材的編寫編排結構體現了遠距離教學的學習過程。教科書中每個單元內容分為三個Programme。每個Programme分為Pre-TV,TV和PotstTV,各部分內容都圍電視課展開。電視課是教學的中心環節,電視課上所提供的聽說訓練和語言環境不是文字教材所能取代的,學員一定要堅持收看電視課,才能收到預期的學習效果。學生手冊內共十八個單元,每個單元內容與教科書單元相對應,對教科書每個單元的語法項目做了詳盡的解釋,並配有各種形式的練習。錄音帶錄制了366頁的APPENDIX1UNIT 1—UNIT18情景對話內容和學生手冊中聽力練習的內容。三盤盒式磁帶供學員課後自學使用,內容包括課文詞彙、語音、對話和聽力練習四部分。
《電大英語(2)教師用書》主要幫助教師如何上好輔導課,怎樣組織學生活動。學生手冊內共十八個單元,每個單元與教科書相對應,對每個單元的語法項目都做詳盡的解釋,並配有各種形式的練習。學員同步學習課文時,隨時參閱有關內容,完成其中練習,達到預習、復習、鞏固提供的目的。

七、作業
做形成性考核作業要與教學內容同步。要按教學內容、進度同步安排做形成性考核作業,這是學生通過做作業來檢查自己是否掌握了所學教學內容的重要實踐環節。全學期我們有三次作業,每次作業應分別第六,第十二和第十八單元結束後交給面授教師批閱。
八、期末復習指導
期末復習有統一的安排,也可根據教材內容和考試題型自行復習。學生可以參考中央電大出版的《電大英語(2)導學及期末復習指導》復習資料,它綜合了考試試卷中各種題型和基本的詞彙、語法、句型和閱讀理解文章的題材。
正確完成全部形成性考核作業占期末總成績的20%,試捲成績佔80%。
答:期末考試試題題型有:
聽力部分
第一題:聽簡短的對話,在每個對話後還將聽到一個有關對話的問題(問題同時寫在試卷上)。你必須在錄音留出的空白時間內從所給的四個選擇中找出最佳答案。
第二題:聽短文,並從中選出最佳答案
筆試部分
第三題:選擇題(從A、B、C、D中選擇一個正確答案)
第四題:選錯(從給出的每句中找出錯誤項)
第五題:1.閱讀短文,回答問題;2.閱讀短文,選出正確答案
