Unit1

情態動詞：can，may，should，must，shall，would。它們所代表是一種情感和態度，使用了它們，句子的語氣變得比較婉轉。
在情態動詞後，動詞用原型。
May I come in?
You shouldn't make noise here.
You must stand there.
Would you like to come to my birthday party.

Can 和should 的用法。
Can I...? No you can't. You should ... Now.

Unit2

When is your birthday?
回答用：It's on .../ My birthday is on... (具體時間用介詞on，大概時間用介詞in)

What would you like as a birthday present?
回答用I'd like...

What day is it today? 今天是星期幾?
What date is it today? 今天幾月幾日?

當你對別人有某個建議或詢問別人是否願意做某事時，可以用：Would you like...

一般過去時
表示過去某個時間發生的動作或存在的狀態，常和表示過去的時間狀語連用，如yesterday，last night，a moment ago，just now。也表示過去經常或反復發生的動作，常和often，always等表示頻率的時間狀語連用。
一般過去時中，動詞要變成它所對應的過去式。
. be動詞：am - was，is - was，are - were
. 行為動詞變化規律：一般情況下，直接在單詞後加 - ed
單詞是以e結尾的，直接加 - d
以母音字母+輔音字母結尾的，雙寫輔音字母，再加 - ed
以輔音字母+y結尾的，去掉y，加 - ied
(在濁輔音和母音後讀/d/，lived，listened
在清輔音後讀/t/，liked，helped，watched
在/t/，/d/音後讀/id/，planted)
一些特殊情況，meet - met，see - saw，go - went，do - did，has / have - had，take - took，等。

ask... about ... 問某人關於某事 e.g.I'm asking my mother something about English (現在進行時)
stay away from 遠離...
know...about 知道某方面的知識 e.g. I know a lot about flowers.

Lantern Festival or Yuanxiao Festival（元宵節;燈節）is a traditional(傳統的) Chinese holiday. It is in February or March, fourteen days after Spring Festival. People usually go to watch lanterns in the streets or in the parks. On this day we eat yuanxiao (元宵). It』s delicious.
My birthday is on that day, too. My friends and I played with lanterns last Lantern Festival. All of us were very excited. We had a really good time that day.
