一、课程性质及教学目标

电大英语二是一门以文字教材为基础,以电视课为中心,辅之以面授课,

又便于学员自学的多媒体教材,它是成招各种专业和开放教育专、本科各种

专业学生必选课。根据教学大纲的规定,通过第二学期考试的学生所掌握的常用词汇达到1500个;应能听懂简单的日常生活会话和教学用语,能回答有关对话和课文的问题;能读懂所学词汇及语法范围内的浅易故事或叙述、经过改写的报刊报道、科普文章等;能用所学词汇及语法组词造句并无重大语法错误。

二、课程的设计结构特点及媒体教材

文字教材的编写编排体现远距离教学的学习过程。 教科书中内容分为两三个Programme。每个Programme分为Pre-TV,TV和Potst TV,各部分内容都围绕电视课展开。面授课主要解决Pre-TV和Post-TV的内容。学生在教师指导下, 先观看录像课共三讲,其中TV部分要求学生同步参与电视授课过程。参与会话、回答问题、听力等内容项目。在面授过程中,教师帮助学生阅读课文,同步完成其中练习,掌握基本词汇、语法知识,提高阅读理解能力,提高听说能力。完成学生手册中的自测练习内容。

全书包括十八个教学单元,其中三个单元是复习课。每周完成一个单元,共需十八周时间。配有五十四讲电视录像课和三盘盒式录音带。

文字教材的编写编排结构体现了远距离教学的学习过程。教科书中每个单元内容分为三个Programme。每个Programme分为Pre-TV,TV和PotstTV,各部分内容都围电视课展开。电视课是教学的中心环节,电视课上所提供的听说训练和语言环境不是文字教材所能取代的,学员一定要坚持收看电视课,才能收到预期的学习效果。学生手册内共十八个单元,每个单元内容与教科书单元相对应,对教科书每个单元的语法项目做了详尽的解释,并配有各种形式的练习。录音带录制了366页的APPENDIX1UNIT 1—UNIT18情景对话内容和学生手册中听力练习的内容。三盘盒式磁带供学员课后自学使用,内容包括课文词汇、语音、对话和听力练习四部分。

《电大英语(2)教师用书》主要帮助教师如何上好辅导课,怎样组织学生活动。学生手册内共十八个单元,每个单元与教科书相对应,对每个单元的语法项目都做详尽的解释,并配有各种形式的练习。学员同步学习课文时,随时参阅有关内容,完成其中练习,达到预习、复习、巩固提供的目的。

七、作业

做形成性考核作业要与教学内容同步。要按教学内容、进度同步安排做形成性考核作业,这是学生通过做作业来检查自己是否掌握了所学教学内容的重要实践环节。全学期我们有三次作业,每次作业应分别第六,第十二和第十八单元结束后交给面授教师批阅。

八、期末复习指导

期末复习有统一的安排,也可根据教材内容和考试题型自行复习。学生可以参考中央电大出版的《电大英语(2)导学及期末复习指导》复习资料,它综合了考试试卷中各种题型和基本的词汇、语法、句型和阅读理解文章的题材。

正确完成全部形成性考核作业占期末总成绩的20%,试卷成绩占80%。

第一题:听简短的对话,在每个对话后还将听到一个有关对话的问题(问题同时写在试卷上)。你必须在录音留出的空白时间内从所给的四个选择中找出最佳答案。

第四题:选错(从给出的每句中找出错误项)
