华东师范大学出版的《英语听力入门》（老版）是一套非常好的英语听力教材，达奚武老师（真名：胡海龙，在某大学教授公共外语）曾特别推荐，本电子书已收录了达奚武老师有关英语学习和听力方面的专门论述。
有许多网友说难以买到这套书，为方便大家学习使用，我从网上收集了这套书（全四册）的学生用书和教师用书，并做了部分修改：一是根据原书添加了前言等内容，二是对源文件的格式进行了适当的转换，全部做成统一形式的电子版。为方便网上传播，特分册制作，共有8本电子书。但由于源文件格式不尽相同，故每册电子书的大小也不相同，本人也没有精力将其全部转换成文本格式，请见谅。
